Using Nyxo Images

• Nyxo Images is free and needs no account. Everyone can make up to 10 pictures a day, and there is also a daily limit for the whole site. Limits can change.
• A quick human check by Cloudflare Turnstile keeps bots from using up the free pictures.
• The service is offered as it is, without guarantees. It can be busy, slow or unavailable at times, and features can change or be removed.
• We can limit or block access for anyone who misuses the service or tries to get around its limits.

What you may not make or share

Don't use Nyxo Images to make, upload or share:

• sexual or nude content;
• anything sexual or harmful involving children;
• graphic gore or violence;
• real people in harmful, sexual or deceptive situations, or private pictures of people without their permission;
• hate symbols, harassment or threats;
• instructions for weapons or crimes, or anything illegal;
• copies of other people's work, brands or logos you don't have the right to use.

Requests are checked by automatic safety filters, and some are refused. We can hide or remove anything that breaks these rules.

Your pictures

• You can use the pictures you make for personal and commercial projects. You are responsible for how you use them.
• Only upload pictures you have the right to use.
• Pictures are made by AI and can contain mistakes. Check them before you rely on them.

Privacy: what we keep, and for how long

• Making pictures. Your description and any pictures you add are sent to our AI model provider to make your picture.
• On our server. Finished pictures stay for 2 hours so you can download them, then they are deleted automatically. Pictures you upload for editing are deleted as soon as your request is done.
• In your browser. Your history, settings and brand kit are saved only on your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them.
• Hidden photo data. Location, camera details and similar hidden data are removed from your photos in your browser, before anything is sent.
• Usage records. To run the daily limits and keep costs in check, we record each request: the time, the kind of picture, its size and its cost. We don't keep your description or your pictures in these records. Your network address is only stored in scrambled form.
• Cookies. After the human check we set one cookie that proves you passed. It lasts up to 6 hours. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare handles the check under its Turnstile privacy policy.
• Technical logs. Our server and Cloudflare keep standard technical logs, such as network addresses and the pages visited, for security. Our own logs are deleted after about 2 weeks.

Share links and the public gallery

• When you make a share link, anyone with the link can see and download the picture, and its description if you choose to show it.
• When you add a picture to the gallery, it is public: anyone can see it, it can appear in search engines, and others can remix it. You choose whether your description is shown.
• Shared and gallery pictures stay until you delete them. You can delete them from the browser you used to share them, in your history.

Reporting a picture

Every shared and gallery picture has a Report button. Reports are anonymous. A picture reported by several people, or reported as involving a child, is hidden right away and reviewed by Nyxo. If a picture shows you without your permission, report it as "A private picture of me or someone I know".

Changes

We may update this page as Nyxo Images changes. The date at the top shows the last update. The Nyxo terms cover the rest of Nyxo.
